2 Days shared tour to the Zagora desert

  A true Moroccan treasure, the Zagora Desert enchants visitors with its vdunes and breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. Between camel rides and exploring Berber villages, experience a unique immersion in this enchanting landscape!

Program:

Day 1: Aït Ben Haddou – Draa Valley – Zagora

Departure from Marrakech around 7:00 AM for an unforgettable adventure to Zagora. You will cross the Tizi N’Tichka Pass, located at an altitude of 2,260 meters, offering spectacular views of Berber villages in the Middle Atlas Mountains.
Your first stop will be the famous Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou, an iconic site steeped in history. Then, continue your journey through the Middle Atlas, passing through the Berber village of Agdez and the Draa Valley, where a sea of palm trees stretches as far as the eye can see. You’ll be immersed in lush vegetation before reaching the gateway to the desert.

In Zagora, enjoy a camel ride to admire the sunset over the desert.

A traditional dinner awaits you in an authentic Berber camp, where you will spend the night.

Day 2: Zagora – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate

Start your day by watching the sunrise over the desert, followed by breakfast. You’ll then have the opportunity to shower before embarking on a 25-minute camel ride in the desert.
You will pass through the Draa Valley, cross Agdez, and arrive in Ouarzazate, if it is possible you may visit the Atlas studios. In the afternoon, you will return to Marrakech with a lunch break along the way.

Your adventure will conclude in the early evening in Marrakech, after exploring spectacular landscapes and the fascinating Berber culture.

Accommodation

In the desert camp, there are two types of accommodation options:

standard, luxury, and family. The standard option includes shared bathrooms and showers located outside the tents. During busy seasons, guests might share a large tent with up to five people, but if there are empty tents available, a private one can be arranged. The luxury option offers private tents with showers inside for more comfort and privacy. For families, there are special family tents available to stay together in one space.
