Start your journey from Fes early in the morning, heading south through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Pass through the Berber town of Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco” with its alpine-style architecture. Continue through the cedar forests of Azrou, where you might see Barbary macaques. Stop for lunch in Midelt, nestled between the Middle and High Atlas Mountains. In the afternoon, drive through the Ziz Valley with its vast palm groves, enjoying breathtaking views of the landscape. Arrive in Merzouga in the late afternoon, where you’ll be greeted by your camel caravan. Ride camels across the Erg Chebbi dunes to reach your luxury desert camp.
